TRANSPORTA Technology s.r.o. participated in the implementation of the project "Reduction of fugitive emissions of homogenization landfill North" for an important investor ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s.

The subject of performance was the delivery of selected parts of technological equipment including steel structures, modifications of equipment and constructions for transport of required materials from the agglomeration North to the agglomeration South. All equipment required for connection to the existing transport routes on the agglomeration South and agglomeration North and its operation was included in the delivery.

The extensive delivery included roughly 320 t of steel structures and 200 t of technology. Belt conveyors for conveying a homogenizing mixture, namely two belt conveyors with a length of 594 m and 440 m, both 1200 mm wide and one reverse conveyor were included. The iron agglomerate is one of the main batch components to blast furnaces.

The project has been prepared and implemented in a very short time. Since the signing of the contract with the contractor of the entire project in November 2017, the project documentation and the implementation documentation were elaborated and the production and delivery of conveyors and steel structures and the project  was completed in July 2018.

This is an exceptionally technologically demanding transport system. Due to the heavy construction of the transport routes and their difficult location in the existing facilities, more than half of the transport lines were led by air on bridges with rail transport, including junctions. For bridging the rail junction, a bridge with an inserted field with a span of over 39 m was used.

Due to the necessity to maintain the full traffic capacity of the road under the conveyor track and the existing technology it was necessary to use the portal posts and to build the construction over the existing transport route.

The transport route was completed by a complex steel structure of the spill station, where the problem of bridging the existing transport route with the transfer of materials to 3 continuous conveyors was solved.

TRANSPORTA Technology s.r.o. participated in the modernization of internal fuel transportation, which included 2 coal transport and biomass transport lines.

In August 2017 the reconstruction of the internal fuel transportation for the K11 boiler began in Mondi Štětí a.s.
TRANSPORTA Technology s.r.o. participated in the modernization of internal fuel transportation, which included 2 coal transport and biomass transport lines.

The reconstruction of the transport lines included chain conveyors, turnstiles, shutters and sealing air system. The reconstruction was completed in 2017 and the verification of guaranteed parameters was carried out. Currently, there is a test run on the transport lines.

TRANSPORTA Technology s.r.o. participates in the implementation of the project "Waterwork Klabava - Improving the Retention and Ensuring of the Water Works Against Effects of Large Waters".

The contract is focused on the production and assembly of  sealing segments of Waterwork, and the supply includes documentation processing, production and assembly of the segments. Production and delivery of sealing segments and their control was completed in August 2018. Assembly works are currently underway and scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2019.

Description:

In scope of this project we executed complete exchange of the existing worn-out through belt conveyor PD 11, width of 1600 mm, laid on a detached bridge width of 4000 mm, for a new  tube belt conveyor TPD 11 500mm in diameter. The exchange of the whole bridge above the CEZ a.s. railway and transit railway corridor   Chomutov – Karlovy Vary was executed during the railway operation. For dismantling and exchange of components a crane, the only of its kind in the Czech Republic, was used.
